 The Hotel Torrecerredo is a modern building
located just 3 minutes walk from the centre of the village of Arenas De
Cabrales in the Picos De Europa, Northern Spain. It is ideally situated
for people wishing to visit the Picos National Park or the beautiful
beaches and fishing ports of "Costa Verde" The Hotel offers stunning
views of the mountains to the south and can provide a wide range of activities
for those with a more adventurous spirit.

 The
hotel was completely refurbished in 1992. There are 19 en suite bedrooms
each fitted with Dual language TV, telephone and central heating for the colder months.
Each room has been individually decorated. Ideal for relaxing after a
days activities the Hotel offers a pleasant garden terrace bar from where
you can enjoy stunning views of the high Picos a few kilometres to the
south, including the highest peak in the Picos, the "Torre de Cerredo". |
 Each
day the Hotel offers a different set menu including local specializes
such as Fabada Asturiana, chickpea stew, and the famous blue cheese “Queso
Cabrales”. All evening meals are served in our panoramic dining room
and are accompanied by wine. Breakfast is buffet style and includes cereals,
fruit juice, tea or coffee, “Sobaos”, toast & marmalade.
If you like, you can also order scrambled eggs. For those who want a packed
lunch for the days activities, we can provide a good sized roll with various
fillings, a piece of fruit and a bar of chocolate. |
 The
Hotel is now in its 20th year of operation and is run by a Spanish and
English couple Pilar Saiz and Jim Thomson. They have a wide experience
of activities and tourism in Northern Spain and can offer advice on almost
anything in either Spanish or English. For those visitors with an adventurous
streak they can facilitate a wide range of adventure activities. |
